The Case of the Missing Turn Signal

It was a gloomy Tuesday morning outside the district court when our senior flat-tire lawyer entered the hall. The accusation against our client (driver of a BMW X6 M) was heavy: He allegedly did not use his turn signal when changing lanes on the highway.

But the opposing side's evidence was incomplete. 'Where there is no turn signal, none can be used,' our firm partner argued sharply, pointing to the optional surcharge list of the Bavarian car manufacturer. 'My client simply opted out of the "Communication Package" to save weight for faster acceleration. To prosecute him now for not signaling would be equivalent to discriminating against his aerodynamic preferences.'

The judge, himself a passionate SUV driver, nodded understandingly. The proceedings were dismissed. Another victory for the Whores & Sons firm!
